Directions for: Holy Smoken Spice Hot Fudge Sundae
Ingredients
5 cup of finely chopped good quality semi-sweet chocolate (1.25 litres)
2 cup heavy cream (500 ml)
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon (15 ml)
2 tsp ground cayenne pepper (10 ml)
Vanilla ice cream, to taste
Whipped cream, sweetened with a little sugar, for garnish
Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Directions
1. Preheat smoker to 200 degree F.
2. Place the chocolate and cream in a 9x12-iinch baking dish. Put in smoker for 15 to 40 minutes (time will vary depending on amount of smoke flavour you desire).
3. Remove from smoker. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and the chocolate has melted. Sprinkle in the cinnamon and the cayenne. Whisk until well blended.
4. Pour chocolate sauce over vanilla ice cream and top with whipped cream & garnish with a cinnamon stick.
