
A rich and tangy dip that makes vegetables irresistible.
Directions for: Barbecue Colby Dip
Ingredients
cup (180 mL) shredded Canadian Colby or Cheddar cheese
cup (125 mL) sour cream
2 Tbsp (30 mL) barbecue sauce
Broccoli florets or other raw vegetable pieces
Directions
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cheese, sour cream and barbecue sauce. Microwave, uncovered, on Medium (50 %) power for 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 minutes, stirring once, until warmed, but not bubbling.
2. Serve with broccoli florets for dipping.
3. To heat in oven or toaster oven, transfer dip to a small baking dish or ramekin and bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for about 15 minutes or until warmed, but not bubbling.
