Directions for: BBQ Pork Chops with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli
Ingredients
BBQ Pork Chops with Mashed Pot4 pork chops, 1 inch thick
tsp garlic powder (1/8 tsp)
1 tsp bottled BBQ sauce
Mashed Potato4 large potatoes (4 to 6)
Milk
Salt and pepper
Broccoli2 Broccoli florets or 5 cups frozen broccoli florets (450g)
Directions
BBQ Pork Chops with Mashed Pot1. Sprinkle each chop both sides with garlic powder and BBQ sauce.
2. Broil or BBQ, turning once until cooked through. (Inside temperature 170F).
Mashed Potato1. Place thinly sliced potatoes in large pot of water and bring to boil until tender.
2. Drain potatoes, add milk, butter, salt and pepper and mash.
Broccoli1. Rinse broccoli in colander.
2. Place in microwave-safe pot.
3. Cover and microwave at high 5 minutes. Let stand.
4. Just before serving give broccoli another stir and microwave two additional minutes.
5. Add butter if desired.
