Directions for: BBQ Meatballs
Ingredients
1 lb(s) (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
cup (125 mL) onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 egg
cup (50 mL) quick-cooking oats
cup (50 mL) barbecue sauce
1 tsp (5 mL) dry mustard powder
fresh dill
Directions
1. Cover large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. In large bowl, mix together ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, rolled oats, barbecue sauce and mustard powder.
3. Form tablespoonfuls (15 mL) of meat mixture into balls and place on baking sheet. Bake in 400F (200C) oven for 20 minutes or barbecue until instant-read thermometer meat thermometer inserted into centre of several meatballs reads 165F (70C).
4. Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
